Therefore, the world’s most “liked” social network has now released a Java-based app that works on almost any mobile available in the market.

It is an undeniable fact that Google has entered our lives in such a way that we are almost depending upon its myriad of services. According to CNET, new job postings for a number of iPhone sales staff in the UK suggest a mid-August launch for Apple’s next-generation iPhone.

It seems that 3D is turning into a major marketing gimmick by companies in order to push consumers to buy more products in the name of technology and innovation. In spite of all the headaches and nausea, it does looks like 3D is here for good and doesn’t plan on leaving anytime soon.
The ongoing 3D craze has slowly spread to all forms of media; first it was “3D TV” then came gaming and now it’s in cellphones. Now, Indian mobile manufacturer Zen has decided to cash in on this growing phenomenon with the introduction of its latest 3D phone, the Zen S30.
Everybody and their uncle loves video games, while an even larger number lusts after cellphones. Many will therefore be interested to know that Nokia is hosting a mobile gaming tournament to promote its recently launched X7 smartphone. The Nokia X7 Full Throttle Tournament has started on 7th July and will continue till 7th August, across eight cities in 150 Nokia retail outlets, including Nokia Priority Stores as well as large multi-brand mobile retail stores. The cities include Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, and Chandigarh.
Contestants will face off in Need for Speed: Shift HD, Worms, Sims 3, Tetris, Monopoly, Bejeweled, Assassins Creed, GT Racing, Avatar, Hawx HD, Spiderman HD, Hero of Sparta HD, Guitar Rock Tour 2 HD, and Settlers HD. The tournament will roll out in two phases – a real-world face off and an online phase on Facebook.com/NokiaIndia.
HTC Desire was one of the company’s flagships at the time of its launch, but the handset has been left behind today, with the arrival of other HTC droids (as is the case with any Android smartphone). As a result, the company had announced that the Android 2.3 update will not be provided to the Desire, a statement it retracted almost immediately. Yet there was no specific time frame mentioned by the company. While some users in the UK have already received the update, others around the world are still left waiting.
