It is an undeniable fact that Google has entered our lives in such a way that we are almost depending upon its myriad of services. G-Toolkit provides a control centre of sorts to provide us instant access to all the important services offered by Google. The casino wheel-like interface is very simplistic and easy to use with different services located in different quadrants. Simply click on the service or spin the wheel and click the Go button at the centre to open the selected service. Once you are done using a service, clicking a Back button situated at the top left takes you back to the main screen.

The services included are Gmail, Picasa, YouTube, Translate (with voice), News, Reader, Tasks, Docs, and Calendar – a pretty impressive list. The app works flawlessly and the best thing is that it is free. This is a must-have app for every iPhone user.

The railways have become an integrated part of our daily lives and most of us spend a good amount of time commuting in the train. An iPhone app called Indian Train Status-007 will help you stay updated about train timings. The interface is very simple and easy to use. All you need to do is enter the name of the train or its number, select the date, and click on Get Status. You will then be presented with all the relevant information about the train in question.

You can also check for trains passing through a certain station. To do this, select Station at the top, select the time (in hours) for which the information is required, input the name of the station and click on Get Status to display the information in a tabular format. There is a Bookmark function to save your search results for Train or Station. While the free app has great utility value, opting for the paid version will also let you check running train status, passing by trains’ status for a given station, seat availability, and PNR status.
